This year, we will continue with a holiday wonderland around the village at three main locations along Santa’s route: the Concourse, Bell Tower and the Old Town Square. There are multiple photo opportunities for the family along the route. We also encourage everyone to visit the homes participating in the 3rd annual house decorating contest. Voting is live on Saturday night and will continue this year through Sunday evening at midnight to allow everyone a chance to see all homes participating over Luminaria weekend. Please cast your vote for the most festive home on MPPG Luminaria event Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mariemontppg

We will also be bringing back some old traditions once again at the Old Town Square! Events kick off at 5:30 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. As in years past, we will have a tree lighting countdown led by the Town Crier and our Mayor, Bill Brown. There will be horse-drawn carriage rides around Oak, Elm, Beech and Chestnut Streets. Tickets for carriage rides are $3/person (free 2&under) and will be available the night of the event (cash only). The Village Church of Mariemont will also be opening up the Chapel for 3 performances from the talented Mariemont High School Choir and Strings Orchestra groups. The Mariemont Community Church will continue this year with carolers and photo opportunities at the Parish Center.

We are looking forward to a fun and festive Luminaria evening to get everyone in the holiday spirit!
