Animal control within the Village is handled by the police and fire department with assistance by the SPCA. Please call the non-emergency police line at 513-271-3246, option 1 if you need assistance with an animal issue in your home or yard.
If you have been skipped over for trash or recycling pick please make sure that a sticker was attached to your can, then call please call the Rumpke route manager directly at 513-851-0122 x 8751 or at (800) 828-8171 immediately for make-up service. Usually make-up service will take place the day after the missed pickup but if you delay calling you may have to wait until the next scheduled weekly pickup.
The Village of Mariemont has a noise ordinance that limits when residents, lawn services and landscapers can operate powered yard maintenance equipment.
- Yard maintenance equipment may be operated: 7:30 am – 9 pm, seven days a week (per Ordinance O-2-16)
Remodelers and construction workers are also limited in when they can operate loud machinery in the Village. Acceptable hours of operation for construction and remodeling is per Ordinance O-16-11 cited as:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 am – 7 pm
- Saturday: 9 am – 7 pm
- Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm
