Choice One Engineering conducted an Open House at Mariemont Elementary on Wednesday, January 8, to present possible improvements to the Miami/Indianview/Murray/Rembold/Lytle Woods intersections.  The event was well attended, particularly among residents near the intersection.

Please note that the two drawings are possibilities for illustration purposes. There is no “preferred option” at this point and other alternatives, hybrids, and “no change” will all be carefully considered.

 

The Village Council approved funds on March 27, 2024 for a renovation of the administrative office in the municipal building at 6907 Wooster Pike.  Work began in December 2024.

Temporary experimental road closure March 28 through approximately April 28

Traffic count data will be collected on affected streets during representative time periods before and during the experiment. Traffic engineers will compile the data for evaluation by the Safety Committee and communicated in an Open House or similar public forum.

The Safety Committee will deliberate concerning results and comments in a public meeting. From there, the Safety Committee will make a recommendation for consideration by full Council.

The Kleinger’s Group was hired to conduct public meetings and prepare feasibility reports on an extension to the current Mariemont shared use path that runs along Murray Ave. Public meetings were conducted in November of 2022 and the feasibility study below presented in March of 2023.
